LIBRARY

College Library plays a significant role in the search of knowledge. It serves as the workshop for the entire college- students, faculty members and staff. It aims to support the teaching learning activity in the college and also provide the students updated knowledge and to ensure the optimum utilization of the available resources. The central library of Durgapur Government College has a rich collection of more than 90000 books and is automated through KOHA. Subscription of national and international journals (Springer), e-content uploading and reading facility, important link information and other details are ensured through Knimbus Digital Library and NLIST Subscription provides access to journals and books.  The automated digital library also provides previous year question papers, while the central library provides reading room, computer and reprography facilities. Departments also have their own seminar libraries. The institution has also procured subscription of Journal of the Indian Chemical Society (Elsevier)for 25 years.
