Durgapur Government College successfully hosted the NSS Orientation & Induction Program on 9th September 2026, featuring the Mega Registration Drive for My Bharat Portal and, for the very first time, a parade learning session for new volunteers on 12th September 2026. Organized by NSS Unit 1 & Unit 2, the program was graced by the presence of Principal Dr. Samar Chattopadhyay, faculty members, and enthusiastic student participants.

The event introduced fresh volunteers to the vision and mission of the National Service Scheme (NSS), emphasizing values of discipline, empathy, and social responsibility. A special highlight was the Mega Registration Drive for the My Bharat Portal, ensuring seamless integration of students into the national youth platform.
